Four Months

At four months old, Patrick is so much fun. His belly laughs are the best sound in the world.

He loves to stand holding on to our hands, and will even pull himself up from a sitting position. He enjoys sitting on the counter in his Bumbo, watching us cook or wash dishes in the kitchen. Still no signs of rolling over, but he will "swim" on his belly, as if trying to crawl.

Patrick sucks constantly on his hands or his thumb, and has been drooling a lot. He figured out how to use his hands, and is finally enjoying playing with toys. His favorites are the pink plastic pig, the frog wrist rattle, or a dish cloth.

Aside from one night when he was trying to keep up with Cousin Alex, he's not sleeping through the night yet. But it remains one quick feed, so we're not complaining.

Robin hasn't gone back to work yet, so we've spent time visiting family, having lunch/play dates, and going for long walks...

Last Visit to Hutchison Lane

Gigi and GrandBob finally sold their house, and are moving to Maine in a couple of weeks. They held a yard sale Saturday morning to get rid of some extra things.

The cousins watched the Red Sox beat the Yankees. We then had an Indian dinner at Mona and Kuldeep's house.

Springtime in Virginia

Charlie wasn't feeling well, so we scrapped swimming plans and enjoyed a beautiful spring day with Grampy and Suzanne. We played mini golf and ate pancakes, ice cream, and lemon lush.

Charlie Turns 5!

The Smiths were visiting grandparents in Virginia, so Robin and Patrick decided to fly down and surprise everybody. Bob picked us up at the airport, and we met the others at the Air and Space Museum. We celebrated Charlie's birthday with a fish cake, and Patrick spent the night in a cardboard box.

Oakenshaw "Oakie" Snyder 1994 - 2007

Oakie started out an indoor cat, but once he got a taste of the great outdoors, there was no keeping him contained. He spent more and more time wandering the neighborhood, until one day he didn't come home.

He was a proud mouse hunter who loved to taunt Llama and collect rubber bands. We will miss his affectionate purr and his feisty spirit. He lived a good long life filled with adventure.

Carriage Ride

Before heading back to the airport, we took a wonderful carriage tour through the streets of Charleston. Patrick enjoyed meeting the mules.
