Snow Day
Snow at last! A foot and a half or so, although much of it melted during the day, forming perfect packing snow. Patrick made a snowman and started a kids-against-teachers snowball fight at school, then Amy and Meredith had fun creating a Snow Thomas in the backyard.

Valentine's Brunch

9 Months (6 Months Adjusted)
James is healthy and strong. Still small of course, but growing every day. At nine months old, he is getting close to sitting on his own. He still needs to be heavily spotted, but is learning to keep his balance and stay upright. He's strong on his belly as well, and has started to inch forward trying to reach for toys.
His sleeping goes in spurts. He's done really well the past few days, going roughly from 7pm to 6am, waking once to nurse around 3am. As recently as a week ago, he was waking several times throughout the night. Napping is still sporadic. He'll sleep for hours in the car, but only for 20-30 minutes in the crib.
No teeth yet, although he's been chewing on toys, hands, clothes a lot. He's been enjoying an evening meal of oatmeal mixed with carrots or sweet potatoes, although he still prefers "baby milk." We've started supplementing with formula to keep up with his appetite.
He enjoys hanging out on the floor or bed in Patrick's room, playing in his "office," and doing chores around the house on Mommy's back.

Potty Training
Day 1 went very well, until a late afternoon accident shook Patrick's confidence. Hopefully he'll get back on the potty tomorrow...

Ben and Nicole's Wedding
Gigi, GrandBob, and Auntie Laura stopped by for a quick overnight on the way to Cousin Ben's wedding in Queensbury. Robin attended the festivities, while Michael stayed home with the boys.
