25 Months

It's been a fun month. A little too chilly to spend much time outside, but Patrick's had fun inside playing with his trains, kitchen, and workbench. And getting out of the house to music class, Soccer Tots, and visits to see the lobsters (Hannaford supermarket).

His favorite foods these days are bagels with cream cheese ("'licious!"), "banana circles," peanut butter and jelly on raisin bread, and "green apples." He's still not very good about trying vegetables, meat, or new foods. We did get a report from school that he touched a piece of broccoli to his tongue, then shook his head and said "no thank you."

He's getting better with his manners. Almost every time we hand him something, we hear an automatic "thank you Mommy" or "thank you Daddy." But he's usually too shy to thank anyone else. He does still need prompting with his "please."

Inauguration Day

Historic day, but Patrick wasn't impressed. Listening to the speech live on the radio, he said "Please, all done!" Watching the news later that night, he wanted to turn on Grampy's Big Loud Trains DVD instead...

Meeting Halfway

Robin and Patrick drove down to Poughkeepsie to meet Alex and Carol at the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum. The boys had a wonderful time exploring all of the exhibits, and creating chaos in a back booth (or two) at Friendly's.

Yet Another Placeholder

In order to catch up, let's jump ahead to January. I'll back-date and finish December eventually...
